Guidelines
The guidelines help in positioning photos in canvases precisely.
There are two types of guidelines available: default (canvas-bound) guidelines and floating guidelines.
Canvas-bound guidelines have blue handles, while global guidelines have red handles in the ruler area.
You can adjust the position of each guideline by clicking and dragging either the handle or the guideline itself.
To show or hide guidelines, click the button on the toolbar.
To add a guideline, click the to add a horizontal guideline or click to add a vertical guideline in the canvas toolbar area.
Alternatively, you can add a guideline by right-clicking on the designated photo canvas and selecting Pin Vertical Guideline or Pin Horizontal Guideline from the menu.
Simply click the position you want to add the guideline in the selected canvas rulers.
To remove a guideline, right-click directly on the guideline and click Delete This Guideline.
Crosshair
The crosshair follows your mouse cursor to aid in aligning photos.
To toggle the visibility of the crosshair, click button on the toolbar.
Gridlines
The gridlines are useful for laying out photos in specific proportions.
There are several options: the default horizontal grid lines (divided into 10 cells), vertical grid lines (divided into 10 cells), and options for dividing into 3 cells, 4 cells, and 5 cells.
You can show or hide gridlines by clicking button on the toolbar.
Outlines
The outlines show the shape and border of the original photo. You can also resize or rotate the photo using the outline adorners.
To show or hide outlines, click button on the toolbar.
Changing colors
To change the colors of these extras, click the bar-shaped button under each toolbar button to popup color selector.
