Photo Effects Adjustments

Effects Panel
The Effects panel on the right side of the workspace consists of various essential photo adjustment tools.

Adjusting Multiple Photos Simultaneously
To adjust and edit multiple photos that are displayed in multiple canvases simultaneously, check the checkboxes located above each canvas for the photos you want to edit together, then use the effect sliders to make changes, and the adjustments will be applied to all selected photos at the same time.

Apply the Brightness and Contrast Adjustment
The Brightness/Contrast adjustment lets you make simple adjustments to the tonal range of an image. Moving the brightness slider to the right increases tonal values and expands image highlights, while moving it to the left decreases values and expands shadows. Changing the brightness affects all pixels equally and can help improve the visibility of the darker parts of the photo. The contrast slider expands or shrinks the overall range of tonal values in the image.

Blur and Sharpness
Sharpening enhances the definition of edges in an image. Blurring can help smooth out pixelated portions or simple noise patterns.

Levels Adjustment
The levels adjustment is used to correct the tonal range and color balance of a photo.

Exposure Adjustment
This adjustment allows you to modify the highlight end of the tonal scale with less effect on the dark shadows. It is useful when you want to reduce the highlights in an image.

Color Balance
Color balance can be used to correct color imperfections in your image. You can also use it to create dramatic effects by changing the overall mixture of colors used in your composite.
Sliders are available for Cyan to Red, Magenta to Green, and Yellow to Blue. Move the slider toward a color that you want to add to the image.

Hue and Saturation
These sliders let you adjust the hue and saturation simultaneously to modify all the colors in an image.
You can change the overall color scheme by adjusting the hue or reduce color intensity by altering the saturation.

Deshadow
If the background of a photo is mostly a solid color with a projected shadow from an object, you can mix the gray shadow part using this feature. It will flood fill the background area with the shadow color, or you can choose to fill it with a solid white color by checking the White Fill option.
