Set a Reference Photo
What is Reference Photo?
A reference photo in PhotoAlign serves as a base photo that provides a standard for alignment. Once you set a reference photo, you can align new photos precisely to match the standard size and shape.
Here's how to set:
- In the Background Options section, click the right button (pile of photos icon), or right-click on the target canvas to access the context menu, then select Set Reference Photo.
- In the file selection dialog, browse and select any reference photo you like.
(The photo will be fitted to the width of the canvas.) - After selection, you can adjust the translucency of the reference photo using the Reference Photo Opacity slider.
Removing a Reference Photo
To remove a reference photo, right-click on the canvas with the reference photo and select the Remove Reference Photo option from the context menu.
Persisting a Reference Photo
If you want to keep the same reference photo with a canvas slot all the time, you should consider customizing templates. Custom templates allow you to define the reference photo as part of the template's design.
