Workspace Overview

The PhotoAlign's workspace can be divided into five spaces.



Toolbars (A)
Toolbars contain several buttons for convenient actions, including:
Preview save: Opens a popup window to quickly preview the resulting photos.
Save to a folder: Saves the edited photos to a specific folder.
Toggle guidelines: Shows or hides guidelines.
Toggle crosshair: Shows or hides crosshair pointer.
Toggle outline: Shows or hides photo shape outline.
Toggle gridlines: Shows or hides gridlines.
Toggle before and after: Shows or hides the original photo.
Select all: Selects all canvases.
Deselect all: Deselects all canvases.
Select inverse: Inverse selects canvases.
Reset photo: Resets the photo and make the canvas empty.
Revert photo: Resets the edited history of the photo.
Reset position: Only resets the position of the photo.
Add a horizontal guideline: Adds a global horizontal guideline.
Add a vertical guideline: Adds a global vertical guideline.
Settings: PhotoAlign settings.

Controllers (B)
Controllers include various tools for canvas manipulation, such as:
Canvas zoom: Zooms in our out the entire canvas board.
Major zoom slider: Changes selected photos' scale ratio (+/- 10%).
Minor zoom slider: Changes selected photos' scale ratio (+/- 5%).
Major rotate slider: Changes selected photos' rotation angle (+/- 1°).
Minor rotate slider: Changes selected photos' rotation angle (+/- 0.1°).
Rotate buttons: Right 90° (Clockwise), Left 90° (Counter-clockwise), 180°
Mirror buttons: Flips (vertical axis) or flops (horizontal axis)
Canvas background change: Changes the background color of the canvas.
Set a reference photo: Sets a reference photo file.
Reference photo opacity: Changes the opacity/translucency of the background reference photo.

Effects (C)
Undo/Redo: Undo or redo actions.
Histogram: Color histogram of the photo. A histogram is a visual representation that shows the distribution of pixels in an image by graphing the number of pixels at each color intensity level.
Color effect tools: Brightness, contrast, blur, sharpness, level, exposure, color balance, hue, saturation, deshadow, and more.
One-click actions: Normalize, auto-level, denoise, envivid, enlight, grayscale, etc.

Assets (D)
Manually added assets browser with LiveWatch feature.
File browser for direct browsing throughout the disk drive.
Auto-Placement: Automatic placement of reserved photos.

Editor (E)
The Editor space consists of canvases with canvas names and checkboxes, serving as the primary editing area.
